As such, Poland only need a point in their final Group C match against Mexico to guarantee a place in the next round.
Saudi Arabia were the better team in the first half and had the advantage of several favorable refereeing decisions, but will rue a missed penalty from Salem Al-Dawsari, who scored the winner in their historic win over Argentina on Tuesday.
