South African TV presenter and musician Zola 7 is back from the sidelines as he has just partnered with the telecommunications company Mobicel.

Zola, Bonginkosi Dlamini is the new partner or ambassador of mobile phone brand Mobicel and the two forces are giving away goodies ahead of the festive season.

Former host of Zola 7 on SABC1, Zola, took to social media to brag about his new gig with Mobicel.

Also known as “Guluwa”, Zola says it is always a pleasure to work with mobile communications company Mobicel and explained how the partnership came about.

Zola 7 said the deal was life changing considering what he has been through in the past few years and the radio host told the media that he is very happy to be part of Mobicel South Africa as he will be traveling around Mzansi educating people about the benefits technologies.

“I look forward to being a part of an exciting opportunity to empower young people as the brand offers them opportunities to develop. It was not a difficult decision,” he said.

“I believe in working with the poorest communities to bring about change. When they approached me about this partnership, I jumped at it.”

Mobicel also echoed Zola’s sentiments and confirmed the partnership in a social media post.

“We are happy to announce our official collaboration with @Officialzola7. Welcome aboard Zola’s Purple Train. Thanks for representing @MobicelSA at an evening with legends. There’s a lot to come, stay tuned!”

Apart from that, he also broke the news to his followers on social media and that the company is also giving away mobile phones.

“Hola Mzansi..guess what?! I’ve officially teamed up with @Mobicelsa and will be sharing some game-changing news with you soon. Follow @mobicelsa – BIG news coming soon – don’t miss #namanje,” wrote Zola 7.

In a related article on Zola, 7 Entertainment SA revealed that Dlamini recently disrupted a concert by Casper Nyovest during a performance in Rustenburg. Zola shared the video on social media and the rapper was humiliated by his appearance as he got down on his knees.

They also performed their collaboration from the album Any Minute Now and it got the crowd going.

“Last night I decided to do a @casspernyovest performance in Rostenburg. We did #Bonginkosi and the crowd went wild,” Zola wrote.
