A fire warning has been issued in some areas of the country.
The South African Meteorological Service has issued warnings of extremely high fire danger for Namakwa District (Northern Cape), Beaufort West Municipality (Western Cape), Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality, Inksuba Yetemba, Enoch Mgidima and Walter Sisulu Local Municipalities in the Eastern Cape.

It will be cloudy in the east Mpumalanga morning rain and some fog along the escarpments, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The Northwest in the east it will be partly cloudy, in the rest it will be fine and warm.

In the morning in the south, in the western half, it is foggy in places Eastern Cape, otherwise thin and warm to hot conditions will prevail. Winds along the coast will be moderate to fresh from the northeast, but light to the west of St. Francis, becoming a southeasterly during the day and a light northwesterly in the evening.
The eastern half of the Eastern Cape will be foggy in places south of the escarpment in the early morning, while the rest of the west will be cool but warm. Winds on the coast in the morning will be north light, northeast fresh to strong.
KwaZulu-Natal it will be cloudy at first, fog in places in the inland areas in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm. Winds along the coast will be moderate to fresh from the northeast, increasing south of Richards Bay in the afternoon.
