Pizzo Massimane has arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of his two-year tour as head coach of Saudi football club Al Ahly.
The 58-year-old player, accompanied by his staff and wife, was greeted by an Al Ahly representative who presented the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach with a bouquet of white roses and a club scarf.
The club is based in Jeddah and currently plays in the second division after being dramatically relegated from the Saudi Arabian Professional League for the 2021/2022 season.
At Al Ahly, Massimane will be joined by his coaching staff – Kabela Rangaaga (fitness manager), Musi Matlaba (performance analysis manager) and Kyle Solomon (performance analyst) – and are expected to be in the dugout on Wednesday.
Al Ahly will face Jeddah Club at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in the second division of the league.
Starts at 19:15 (SA time).
