Kaizer Chiefs fans are now clamoring for goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma after their second DStv Premier League defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.

Some social media users believe that the young goalkeeper is not improving despite being under the tutelage of Mzansi number one Itumeleng Khun.

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper conceded four goals against the league champions at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday afternoon and fans believe he should be dropped from the club’s number one.

Bvuma is currently trending on social media where the Glamor Boys are saying he is to blame for the heavy loss to the sold-out Brazilians.

However, it appears the 27-year-old has some supporters who have come to his defense saying his defenders have let him down and should not be singled out for the loss.

Dr Tintswala said:

“When Peterson conceded 4 balls against Royal AM he was never blamed not even once…with Bvuma he is even being blamed for mistakes that aren’t even his fault…it’s not fair.”

Faahla said:

“In the current Kaizer Chiefs squad, Bruce Bwuma and Siyabongo Ngezana are the third and fourth longest serving players at Kaizer Chiefs. They hide behind the fact that the players are in development. Their speeches are not shown at all.”

Dr. Arigato said:

“I keep saying that Bvuma is not Kaizer Chiefs material. We will punish him every time, he always speaks without skills.”

Felix Mokwele said:

“That’s the basic notion, when you pass the ball back to your goalkeeper, stay in the path of the attacking player if necessary, but Ngezana ran away and left Bvuma to face the charging Sirin. The worst part Ngezan played the ball for Sirin…”

Luvuyo Zideba said:

“Zwan is loved by the fans, but they can quickly turn their backs on him if he is stubborn. Now Chiefs need the experience of Khune not Bvuma. Bell, please listen.”
