TS Galaxy announced the signing of Bernard Parker to a two-year contract.

The experienced forward joined the Galaxy as a free agent after being released by Kaizer Chiefs at the end of his contract in June.

The Galaxy announced the signing of the former Chiefs player on Saturday as the club continue to strengthen their squad for the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

“TS Galaxy Football Club have signed former Bafana Bafana international @BernardParker on a two-year contract. Welcome to the Rockets @BernardParker,” the Mpumalanga club posted on their social media platforms.

Parker’s signing follows the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sibusis Vilakazi as well as former Orlando Pirates midfielder Xola Mlamba.

The 36-year-old joins the Rockets after spending 11 years at Amakhosi, where he won numerous trophies with the club and was the league’s top scorer in 2013/14.

He won the league title with Naturena in the 2012/13 and 2014/15 seasons after joining the club in 2011.

Parker also played abroad, where he played for Crvena Zvezda (Belgrade), FC Twente, as well as Panseraikos in Greece.

The Galaxy technical team have added Parker to a squad that has started the current season on a positive note, with the club beating title holders Sundowns 1-0 in their previous game, following a 0-0 draw against the Galaxy earlier in the campaign. FC “Amazulu”.
