DURBAN – The case of 37 accused instigators of the July riots who appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Friday has now been adjourned to November 2022.
The group is accused of inciting public violence related to last year’s mass looting.
There were 35 defendants in court at a preliminary appearance, but two more were added on Friday, bringing the total to 37.
The state adjourned the case for further investigation.
