SuperSport United (SSU) midfielder Sifo Mbule will receive the new club by the end of the month, his agent Mike Macaab told SABC Sport.

It’s no secret that the talented Mbule is a sought-after player, although disciplinary problems ended his season prematurely after he was rejected by the SBU for several articles of wrongdoing, as recently explained by CEO Stan Matthews.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs are two top-tier clubs that are said to have made serious inquiries, although it is believed the Brazilians have actually won the race and struck a deal with Mbule for next season.

But Makaab did not want to be involved in further discussions because he switched to social media to claim that Amahosi was not demonstrating his intentions.

The agent was only ready to confirm that Mbule would be at the new club when the registration period reopens on July 1st.

“I am confident that by the end of the month we will complete the deal with another football club because Stan Matthews has given me the blessing to continue,” McAab told SABC Sport.

“I do not want to disrupt any of the clubs now, because these are the last games of the league (DStv Premiership) – after the Nedbank Cup (May 28) I will deal with the clubs with which I have to participate. I hope we can come to some finality. “

Chiefs Athletic Director, Kaiser Motaung Jr., has in the past spoken of Mbule as the player with whom the Glamor Boys would like to sign.

Whether there is such a possibility seems unlikely.
