A 36-year-old man linked to the murders of a number of women, including Hilary Gordy, is due to appear in Delmas Magistrates’ Court on Monday on another murder charge.
He is expected to appear for the murder of two sisters in Kanyamazan. It is not yet clear when he will appear for Gardei’s murder.
Police confirmed that he had admitted his involvement in the murder of Gordy, who is the daughter of former Economic Freedom Fighters general secretary Godrich Gordy.

“We arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of three women in the province, and then he was found in the position of a firearm, he was arrested in the springs, he will appear tomorrow in the Delmas Magistrate’s Court in relation to these specific charges, including that we’ve linked him to the Hilary Gardy case.”
Bail applications for two of the three remaining men accused of raping and murdering Hilary Gordy are expected to resume on Tuesday this week.
Philemon Lukele and Mduduzi Gama appeared briefly in the Nelspruit Magistrates’ Court in Mpumalanga last week. They were detained in connection with the non-appearance of the chairman of the court.
They are accused of murder, kidnapping, rape, subversion of justice and conspiracy to commit murder.
One of their co-accused, Sipho Mhatshwa, was denied bail almost two weeks ago.
Gordy went missing and her body was found in a plantation forest outside Mbombela a few days later.
Gordi believes King Mswati was angered by the party’s protests in April, which closed four borders with Eswatini for more than six hours.
Gordi alleges that the king of eSwatini allegedly unleashed his foreign intelligence services with the bait of a robbery that led to the death of his daughter Hilary.
Eswatini government spokesman Alpheus Nxumala refused to comment on the allegations: “We will not respond to these allegations with dignity. There is no truth in these claims.”
