Dane Clayt’s Chippa United were the first to find the back of the net thanks to Ronald Pfumbidzai’s header.
In the 18th minute of the second half, Bradley Grobler restored parity for the hosts. In extra time, Matsatsants goalkeeper Ricardo Goss received a straight red card for a shot by Pfumbidzai.
