Public figure Thami ‘Dish’ Kotlolo has broken his silence on claims by Somizi Mhlongo’s estranged husband Mohale Motaunga that he knew about the alleged rape – via Instagram on Thursday 11 August.
THAMI DENIES BEING A ‘ASSISTANT TO THE COMPOUNDS’
Thami Dish issued a statement following Mohale’s claim that it knew about the abuse through its Showmax special Mohale: On the record. He claimed he facilitated the meeting after the argument, but he claims he did not suggest Mohale return home to Somizi.
“Although I would facilitate a meeting between the two sides at my home after the altercation – it would be purely for both sides to share their side of the story from their point of view,” he said.
“In no way did I make any suggestion that Mr. Moatung should return to a home or relationship where the abuse continued. And he knows it. It would be a decision he made outside of my influence,” he continued.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reported that Tami sent a letter to Mohale demanding a public apology or damages of up to R1 million. look…
