President of the Pan African Congress of Azania Mzwanele Nyuhontso has expressed optimism about their National Electoral Congress to be held in Seshego, Polokwane from Friday to Sunday.
The three-day Congress followed a long legal dispute over the leadership of the PAC, which was eventually settled last year.
PAC leader Nyuhontso and his deputy Lungo Mantashe will contest for the presidency at the convention.
Nygontso says that they have prepared well for this convention.
“Remember that this elective convention is called according to the Constitution because the time has come for the leadership to expire. PAC issues have been resolved. The best organization comes out of this congress again.”
“The PAC is still as relevant as it was in 1965 and the land is the foundation of what the PAC stands for. Land is a core business and the idea is to return the land to its rightful owners,” Nyhontso adds.
