One person was killed in an accident involving a bus and truck on the Hammer Road near the Zaheni Bridge in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga.

Five people were seriously injured, three others received minor injuries.

According to preliminary information, a bus broke down on the way to Pretoria, then the truck collided with it while the passengers were disembarking. This led to the bus crashing into pedestrians.
