South African actor and radio host Mohale Motaung opened up about his marriage to media personality Somizi Mlonga in an explosive Showmax special that aired on Thursday, August 4.

Here are five blasts from the special edition that got tongues wagging.

1. MOHALE DENIES THAT HE NEVER CLAIMED FOR 50% OF SOMIZI’S ESTATE

The Black Doors star denied demanding 50% of Somizi’s property. This comes after a media personality claimed that Mohale was demanding half for an episode of Living the Dream with Somizi season five.

Mohale claimed he only needed his clothes, car and money from their Showmax wedding show.

“The very first letter we sent to Somiza on June 25, 2021 said I want my clothes, the car he crashed (minimum value of R200,000) and I want wedding money (R750,000), which belong to both of us, he said.

So how did Mohale feel about Somizi claiming he wanted half? Well, he was shocked.

“I didn’t understand why he would go and lie saying I wanted 50% of his property. If there is truth and lawyers letters between him and my lawyers clearly stating that I am not the truth (50% asking). I will tell my truth,” he said in an exclusive interview with The South African.

2. PRESUMED ABUSE

Mohale claimed that Somizi “beat him up” on more than two occasions. He described an alleged incident where Somizi wanted to spoil his face and doused him with champagne.

“He went upstairs, I remember he had a bottle of champagne in his hand. I tried to get out of the clothes I was wearing and he started dousing me and when I tried to find out what was going on, he started beating me,” he said.

“His main goal in everything, I remember him saying he needed to ruin my face because that pretty face was ruining everything for him. I remember having to cover my face because the shoes he was wearing were really going to hurt my face,” he said.

“He started hitting me in the ribs, he started hitting my legs. I couldn’t walk, I crawled up the stairs,” he continued.

3. SOMIZI WANTED A THREE FROM ORLANDO

The radio host also claimed that Somizi wanted him to have a threesome with Orlando. He said he was uncomfortable and asked to leave. It happened just a day after the couple got engaged.

“I think we’re supposed to have threesomes from Orlando, and I was shocked,” he said.

4. SOMIZI WANTED MAHALE TO RETIRE

Mohale claimed that Somizi did not want him to work because he wanted him to be a house husband.

“At the time the influential job came, I was unemployed and quit because he asked me to,” he said.

He also claimed that Somizi sabotaged his employment opportunities with the Fergusons.

“Somizi spoke to TT Mbha and asked him to tell people not to employ me. I found myself missing gigs and it really hurt that my husband and his best friend made up a story to make sure I didn’t get that gig with the Fergusons,” he said.

5. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RELATIONSHIP, MOHALE CHEATED SOMIZI

The 27-year-old guy did not just shoot at his husband, but also admitted his own rights. He revealed that he cheated on Somizi three months into their relationship.

“I cheated three months into a relationship and it’s not something I’m proud of because it hurt me to see him hurt. I had no reason to cheat, I was just being selfish and I didn’t think about him or how he would feel,” he said.
