The relationship between hip-hop stars and lovers Nadia Nakai and Kiernan “AKA” Forbes seems to be getting serious.
The couple became official earlier this year, and they’re still going strong. Mom AKA Lynn Forbes shared photos with her son’s partner, Nadia, and Brittany Smith, who is Stefan Forbes’ girlfriend.
Lynn Forbes wrote, “Sometimes we get so caught up in what’s going wrong that we miss all the beautiful things that happen in our lives. Take a step back and be grateful in that moment.
“Thank God for Your blessings in my life.”
Three women went out to lunch.
Nadia and DJ Zinhle commented on the heart emoji post. DJ Zinhle once dated AKA and they have a six-year-old daughter, Kaira Forbes. DJ Zinhle has once again demonstrated just how amicable their co-parenting is.
In July, Nadia revealed more about AKA, saying she had known him for years. “He was respectful every time I met him. We’ve never had any personal problems, and obviously out of respect for my label boss, I’d refrain from interacting with him too much.
“There wasn’t a certain time when we said to ourselves that we were an official couple, because we were just good friends. We talked for long hours on the phone and shared a lot in common,” she told The Sowetan.
Nadia also met Cairo and shared that one day she would like to have children with AKA. “We didn’t plan to be a couple, it just happened … I witnessed how great a father he is, of course I would like to have his children one day.”
Rapper Bragga is featured on Phantom Steeze and Sjava’s remix Zonke. The song also features AKA, Robot Boii, Buzz Lee and Mustbedubz.
