Elon Musk Over the weekend, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal was called out for a public debate about the percentage of bots on the social media platform.

“Let him prove to the public that Twitter has less than 5% fake or spam users daily!” Musk said on Twitter.

He also started a user survey to see if less than 5% of daily Twitter users are fake/spam.

Twitter on Thursday rejected Musk’s claim that he was duped into signing a deal to buy the company for $44 billion.

Musk filed a countersuit against Twitter on July 29, escalating a legal battle with the company over his attempt to renege on the purchase agreement.

Earlier in the weekend, Musk said that if Twitter could provide its method of sampling the 100 accounts and how it would verify that the accounts are genuine, his deal to buy the company should go ahead on its original terms. — Maria Ponnezhat, with Ira Iosebashvili, (c) 2022 Reuters
