Mtakazizi Ndaba is all over the internet after he was arrested on rape charges.
The star was released on R1,500 bail this week after the alleged rape.
A 24-year-old woman has accused the singer of raping her on Sunday, August 7, in Durban. Speaking to the publication, the unidentified woman said they partied all night until the Idols SA season 13 runner-up offered to take everyone home.
“I met Mthokozisi for the first time at a car wash on Saturday. I was with friends and he was driving a station wagon. From there we partied all night until Sunday morning. Mtakazisi then offered to throw everyone home.”
She continued: “He said he would drop me off last because he wanted to talk to me. I agreed. We then went to a park where we voluntarily kissed. But then I felt uncomfortable and I asked him to stop…but he didn’t.”
Apparently, after the singer undressed, he allegedly raped her. “I don’t know when he undressed. Everything happened so fast. He became violent and began to undress me. I kept begging him to stop, but he wouldn’t. He raped me and was proud of it.”
Her attempt to escape from the van was unsuccessful due to the locked door. After the incident, the woman went to the Kwa-Mashu police station to file a rape charge and to a nearby clinic to be examined.
