Loyiso Gola has taken to his social media to talk about being roasted for what he claims to be the mastermind behind the Roast of Khanyi Mbau.
A few days ago, the star revealed that Roast Of Khanyi was scripted and all the jokes told in the show were written by him along with a small team of writers he led.
Loyiso revealed this on his microblogging Twitter page on Monday night ahead of the debut of the show which aired on DStv 112.
“This year I was commissioned by Comedy Central to write ‘Roast with Hanya Mbau’. What does this mean, many people have asked. Well, that’s writing The Roast script….writing and approving every joke and every word. I had to assemble a team of people who I believed could handle it. Several of them were first-time writers and had never been in a writers’ room before. In the end, I was really proud of the team and what we were able to do. I want to thank the participant of the discussion for his trust. Thank you Comedy Central for making this experience great”
Well, it seems he got grilled by so many people for making the discovery.
Loyiso then shared a video telling the truth.
