The governments of Kenya and Somalia have pledged to speed up the implementation of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between the two countries.
The promise was made when Kenya’s new president, Dr. William Samoi Rutohosted the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamudat State House, Nairobi, Kenya, on Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022.
Among other things, the implementation of the Joint Cooperation Commission will help increase the trade of Mirao and fish and facilitate the movement between the two countries.
Dr Ruto also held discussions with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud which included the security situation in Somalia and the Horn of Africa.
