Artur Zvane calls for patience!

“If I have to put a rating out of 10, maybe we’re still at four. We are not half way there yet, because there is still a long way to go.” the Kaizer Chiefs coach told Sowetan.

“I think we are still far from what we want to be. As much as we build in all aspects in terms of trust.

“The way the game is played, the culture and all those things, because it’s not going to be something that happens overnight.

“It will take some time but that is why Kaizer Chiefs will have to go through phases.

“There are steps you have to make sure you complete. This is first and make sure everyone is on the same page before moving on to the next.

“Otherwise, you won’t be able to engage everything at once, because it will be kind of a split. The players won’t even know if they’re coming or going.”

Kaizer Chiefs vs Maritzburg United: How to live stream

Today’s match at the FNB Stadium kicks off at 19:30.

The match will be broadcast live on SuperSport PSL and you can also stream it live on Multichoice’s DStv streaming platform. Subscription required.

Chiefs were defeated in their league opener against Royal AM at Chatsworth Stadium last weekend.

On the other hand, Maritzburg United came away with a point against a tough Sekhune United side.

“Yes, we are still looking, you see how you want to play. We don’t want a striker who will come in and be like the players we have.’ Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane said earlier.

“We need someone who is strong on the ball, someone who can head well.

We need someone who can hold the ball for us to join him at high speed, then that will give us another dimension.

“Now we have faster players. If they were a bit more clinical like they are today, it might be a very different story,

Do you believe Kaizer Chiefs can survive with Ashley Du Preez as their only forward this season, or should the club go all out to find another striker?
