Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri said he did not believe his job was under threat despite Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Benfica for a second successive Champions League defeat.
Juventus have lost their opening two Champions League group stage games for the first time and are eighth in Serie A, four points behind leaders Napoli after six games.
Asked about the situation at the club after Wednesday’s defeat, Allegri told Prime Video: “I don’t feel any risk at all.”
These moments are part of football. This is the first time we have lost two games in a row in the Champions League.
“At 2-1 it was game over, they could have made it 3-1 or 4-1. We could have drawn as well, but it was a game below expectations,” he added.
Juve’s next league trip to Monza is on Sunday.
