WASHINGTON – Johnny Depp grabbed his then-wife Amber Heard by the hair and punched her several times in the face during a heated argument about a month after their marriage, her sister said Wednesday.

Hurd also hit Depp during a brawl in March 2015 at their penthouse in Los Angeles, Whitney Enriquez testified in a high-profile defamation case between the celebrity.

Enriquez, Hurd’s 34-year-old younger sister, said Pirates of the Caribbean The star demanded that she sign a non-disclosure agreement after the incident, but she refused to do so.

Depp, 58, has filed a lawsuit against Hurd over an article she wrote for The Washington Post in December 2018, in which she called herself a “public figure representing domestic violence”.

“When he was sober, everything was great,” she said. “If he wasn’t sober, they were awful.”

Enriquez spoke in detail about the March 2015 incident at a penthouse in Los Angeles owned by Depp.

She said Hurd woke her up in the middle of the night to tell her that Depp had cheated on her and that the youngsters had quarreled afterwards.

“They said very nasty things to each other,” Enriquez said.

“Johnny’s running up the stairs,” she said. “He comes up behind, hits me in the back.”

“I hear Amber shout, ‘Don’t beat my damn sister,'” she said. “She smacks him, lands one.”

Enriquez said Depp’s bodyguard tried to intervene, “but by then Johnny had grabbed Amber by the hair with one hand and punched her several times in the face with the other.”

She said a bodyguard tore them apart and then Depp proceeded to trash in the penthouse, smashing a variety of items in the kitchen and devastating Hurd’s clothing shelves to the ground.

Depp’s lawyers sued experts who testified that he lost millions due to allegations of abuse, including $ 22.5 million in sixth-installment wages Pirates.
