Twitter founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey regrets that the social network has become a company. From the report: “Biggest problem and biggest regret is that it’s become a company,” Dorsey tweeted in response to a question about whether Twitter had turned out the way he envisioned it. Dorsey will receive $978 million if the deal to buy Twitter from billionaire Elon Musk is completed. When asked what kind of structure he would like Twitter to operate under, Dorsey said it should be a “protocol” and that Twitter should not be owned by a government or another company. If it were a protocol, Twitter would work just like email, which is not controlled by one centralized organization, and people using different email providers can communicate with each other.
