South African DJ and businesswoman, Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, revealed the reason she didn’t want to get married in the first episode of the second season of her reality show, which aired on BET Africa on August 6.

DJ Zinhle said her ‘daddy’, Bongani Mahasana, popularly known as Murda Bongz, came to her mother’s house to negotiate lobola. She said that she is married and likes to tell everyone. In September 2021, Murda Bongz and DJ Zinhle gave birth to Asante Mohassan.
DJ Zinhle also has seven-year-old Kairo Forbes with rapper AKA. She revealed that she never wanted to get married and was never with someone she wanted to marry. Was she throwing shade at AKA? The couple was in a volatile relationship for a while, but AKA allegedly cheated Umlila hitmaker with media personality Bonang Matheba.
“I just never had the ambition to get married. I never wanted it, I never felt like I was with anyone I wanted to marry, but Bongani and I spent a lot of time talking about it, thinking about what we wanted to do,” she said in the episode. DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected.

Others noted that the DJ is in a secure relationship. So when she posted an AKA on Father’s Day, it wasn’t a big deal, as Tweeps revealed.
