Tusa Mbedu – who plays the main role in the real story A woman is a king – ignited rumors that she is dating her colleague John Bayega.

The South African actress and the British star shared photos together on their social media accounts, suggesting the pair are “Instagram Official”.

But is the chemistry between them real or are they just good actors?

Award-winning actress Tusa Mbedu, who hails from Pietermaritzburg in the KwaZulu-Natal province, shared a flirty photo with her co-star on her IG account.

The duo hit the red carpet this week for the Variety & Chanel Directors Dinner

In the photos, Tussaud leaned over John Boyega, who put his arm around her.

The photo set tongues wagging in the comments section, with many followers claiming the actors were more than just friends. And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the pair together.

Tuso Mbedu and John, who play Navi and King Gezo respectively, have been posting pictures and clips of each other while filming the movie.

One tweet even shared a photo of Tussa Mbedu holding hands with John during another event.

Tuso Mbedu is not the only South African star woman king which is released in SA on Friday 30 September.

Other local personalities include media personality Siv Ngesi, actress Tanda Dloma and even former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi.

According to the official website, A woman is a king tells the true life story of the Agoji, an all-female warrior unit that defended the African Kingdom of Dahomey (now Benin) in the 1800s.
