Tik Tokker Thulisile Lushaba recently ordered a wig from DJ Zinhle’s Hair Majesty brand and gave an honest review of the 16 inch wig which cost her R3170.
In one of her videos, she stated that she had ordered a customized and whitewashed unit, but the customization was not to her liking.
She then provided feedback on how the brand could improve the experience for shoppers in the future. One of her suggestions included listing the weight of their wigs in the description on the Hair Majesty by DJ Zinhle website.
Lushaba made the offer after expressing her frustration with how thin her hair was.
“If I knew this wig was so thin, I wasn’t even sure it weighed 100g. Like, on DJ Zinhle’s website, Hair Majesty [website] they should state that the hair is 100g, 100 percent density, 180 percent density, 200 [per cent] density. They should tell us the density of the wig so we know exactly what we’re getting.’
“If it’s already thin at a short length, how thin will it be at twenty-something inches?” she asked.

She explained that longer wigs tend to get thinner towards the ends, while shorter wigs are expected to be fuller as the hair is packed closely together, giving a thicker and fuller look.
“I actually rate them at 0/10. I was generous in the video. What a waste of money,” she wrote in a comment under her second video.
The DJ, entrepreneur and reality star launched Hair Majesty by DJ Zinhle about a year ago, around the same time she announced her pregnancy and launched her reality show The Unexpected.
The company’s current slogan is “only the highest quality Peruvian and Brazilian hair!”
Another thing Lushab wasn’t happy about was that the lace front of her wig was shorter than the rest of it, and how she felt when her order was delivered.
Tik Tokker asked why her order was shipped almost four business days after she placed the order. She added that the order was shipped only after she made an email inquiry about the lack of association with the brand.
According to Lushaba, her order was also initially sent to the Northern Cape, although she lives in Gauteng. However, she said the brand’s customer service was very helpful.
“Guys, courier companies can destroy your business. You shouldn’t just use the cheapest courier because it affects the customer experience.”

In the end, after receiving the order, she declared that everything was intact and added that she was satisfied with the packaging. However, based on how disappointed she seemed with her experience at DJ Zinhle’s Hair Majesty brand, it doesn’t seem like she’ll be a repeat customer.
Tik Tokker tagged DJ Zinhle in their videos and said she had emailed them with her thoughts, but did not specify if she had received a response from the brand.
“I’ve always thought Hair Majesty was the best, I mean their prices,” reads one of the comments under the video.
“Wigs and clothes have taught me to never buy anything I haven’t seen or touched,” another user added.
“Nah, it definitely doesn’t add 16 inches, it doesn’t add greatness to hair! And definitely do not give a wig for 3000 rubles! I hope they will see this and send a new wig,” commented one of Lushaba’s viewers.
