Actress and media personality Pearl Tusi, who has often been shamed on social media, has caused a lot of concern and grief after a video that went viral shows her longtime friend DJ Zinhle chasing her away from the DJ booth while she was working.

The DJ has since explained what was actually going on in the clip, and Toozi has also spoken out about it.

“I’m actually very confused. I thought obviously you were busy and I just decided to get out of the way. How it got to this point is beyond me. Wild. We had so much fun this time,” Pearl tweeted in response to DJ Zinhle dropping a public narrative surrounding the video.

“Thanks for your concern guys, it means a lot. It’s appreciated, but I’m really fine,” she added.

The short video clip comes after much speculation that there was trouble between the famous friends due to the fact that they no longer post photos together and do not appear together in public as often as before.

Not only was the video seen as a sign of trouble in paradise, but many even tried to categorize DJ Zinhle as a mean girl.

DJ Zinhle denied the claims on Twitter. She wrote on Thursday: “Hey guys. I need to figure it out. Pearly [and] I had a great time and in the video you saw I was gesturing to Brendan who I was playing with to come over and pick a song because we were using his USB.

“Also. Why would Pearl smile as she left if I was angry with her? Please stop bashing me… STOP!”

She further stated, “Also. You keep saying I don’t need to explain myself so you can push a narrative that entertains you.

“I was never mean to Pearl… not at all.”

It’s the second time this year the stars have had to publicly explain their friendship after Toozi also denied claims they were no longer friends in July.
