A fourth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Hilary Gordy, daughter of former Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) general secretary Godrich Gordy. The suspect was reportedly arrested in Gauteng.

Three other suspects, Sipho Mhatshwa, Philemon Lukhele and Mduduzi Gama, were arrested in May for Gardi’s murder. They are accused of murder, rape, subversion of justice and conspiracy to commit murder.

The accused king Mswati III

Godrich Gordy charged King Mswati III Eswatini in organizing the kidnapping, rape and brutal murder of his daughter Hilary Gardy.

Gordi believes King Mswati was angered by the party’s protests in April, which closed four borders with Eswatini for more than six hours.

Gordi alleges that King Eswatini allegedly unleashed his foreign intelligence services with the bait of a robbery that led to the death of his daughter Hilary.

Eswatini government spokesman Alpheus Nxumala declined to comment on the allegations.

“We will not respond to these accusations. There is no truth in these claims.”
