South African singer Mahadi is definitely making big strides in her career and nothing seems to be stopping her. The Limpopo-born hitmaker has been making waves in London and she couldn’t be more proud of herself. On the Internet, she shared her performance in front of a London crowd who knew all the lyrics to one of her songs.

She did so well in the music video that one of her followers briefly mistook her for international pop star Beyoncé Knowles.

Mahadi was mistaken for Beyoncé during a performance in London

Mahadi, 25, is on a high both here in South Africa and abroad.

The Ghana the hitmaker doesn’t put a foot wrong when it comes to her performances, and that’s something she knows very well.

Earlier this week, Mahadi took to Twitter to share a video of her performance in London.

In the caption, she talked about how her London fans were able to sing along with her – a sign that she has fans around the world.

“Singing proved to me that the world is waiting for me. London was on fire.’

The post collected almost 40 thousand likes and thousands of views.

Many people took to the comments section to marvel at her success. One person even mistook the singer for superstar Beyoncé.
