Famous former cricket umpire Rudy Kertzen has died in a car accident

Kertzen and three others were reportedly killed in the crash in Riversdale.

JOHANNESBURG – One of the most popular cricket umpires Rudy Kertzen (73) has died in a car accident.

Kertzen and three others were reportedly killed in the crash in Riversdale.

They were returning from Cape Town after a weekend of golf.

Koertzen lived at Despatch in Nelson Mandela Bay.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.
