South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, known as DJ Zinhle, revealed that her “Daddy” Murda Bongz’s family came to her home to negotiate lobola in the first episode of the second season of her reality show which aired on BET Africa August 6.

The first episode of the second season DJ Zinhle: Unexpected On August 6, the businesswoman dropped a bomb on the air – She is married! The Umlila hitmaker revealed that her ‘daddy’ Murda Bongs wants him to be called ‘husband’.
In September 2021, the businesswoman and Murda Bongza had their first child, Asante Mahasana. Asante is the second child of DJ Zinhle and Mura Bongz. The DJ has seven-year-old Kyra Forbes with rapper AKA, while Murd Bongz also has a son from a previous relationship.
“Bongani wants to be a husband. He doesn’t want to be called a boy anymore. A lot has changed since you last saw me, she said.
So, DJ Zinhle explained that half a year ago, Murda Bongz and his family used to come to her mother’s house for lobola negotiations. She said they wanted something small and low-key and clearly saved the news for her reality show!
“Bongani and his family came to my mum to negotiate for Labola. And we decided that it should be a small affair, just the family,” she continued.

DJ Zinhle then revealed that she never wanted to get married because she was never with anyone she wanted to marry. However, she and Murda Bongs talked things over and she said she was now his wife.
“I just never had the ambition to get married. I never wanted it, I never felt like I was with anyone I wanted to marry, but Bongani and I spent a lot of time talking about it, thinking about what we wanted to do,” she said.
DJ Zinhle said she likes to tell people she is married.
“I’m very happy to be his wife, I’m very happy to try something that I never thought would happen to me. So now I’m married and I love telling people that,” she continued.
