Motorists are in for a sharp drop in diesel prices in December, according to the Automobile Association (AA).
Diesel is expected to drop by about 1.55 rand per litre, the association said.
Despite this, gasoline prices are likely to rise by 23-33 cents per liter in the coming weeks.
CEF’s monthly unaudited average shows a rise of 62 cents per liter for 95 unleaded and 52 cents for 93 unleaded.
However, if current trends continue, prices could drop below 30 cents by the end of the month.
