These crunchy orange chicken burgers with green chili peppers are the perfect burgers that you can recreate and enjoy as a cheat meal at the end of a busy week.

For burgers

  • 160 g of honey
  • 100 ml of orange juice
  • 118 ml of rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons orphan
  • 1/2 inch grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 225 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For my orphan

  • mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons orphan
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

For lard

  • half a head of white cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 diced green chili peppers
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. In a small skillet, add honey, orange juice, rice vinegar, soy sauce, shrirachu, ginger, garlic and sesame oil. Bring to a boil and reduce for 4-5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water and add to sauce. Stir until thickened and remove from heat.
  2. Fry the chicken thighs in beaten eggs, then in flour seasoned with salt and garlic powder. Fry until golden brown and crust.
  3. Fill the chicken with warm orange sauce and be sure to apply the sauce to each piece.
  4. To make a salad, mix slices of white cabbage, red onion, diced green chili and green onions. Season with salt, lime juice and olive oil.
  5. To make shrirach mayonnaise, mix mayonnaise, soy and shrirach in a small bowl.
  6. Fry the bun and put the shriracho-mayonnaise, a piece of orange chicken and put the salad on top.
