Chelsea moved to the Champions League qualifiers next season when they pressed Leeds closer to relegation from the Premier League with Fr. 3-0 victory on Wednesday.

Thomas Tuchel’s tank won for the first time after last week’s consortium of Todd Bolly agreed to a deal to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.

Mason Mount opened the scoring in the early stages on Elland Road, and Leeds suffered another blow when Daniel James was sent off.

Christian Pulisic scored Chelsea’s second goal after the break, and Ramela Lukaku completed the Blues’ first victory in four games.

Chelsea, who are in third place, are now eight points behind Tottenham, who are in fifth place, and will be guaranteed a place in the top four if Antonio Conte’s team does not beat Arsenal, which is in fourth place, on Thursday.

Delaying their unsettling recent downturn was the perfect preparation for Chelsea ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley.

While Chelsea are looking to end the season at a high level, Leeds are in serious danger of relegation.

Jesse Marsh’s charges are third at the bottom of the table, behind Burnley, who are fourth in goal difference.

Burnley have three games left compared to two for Leeds, which host Brighton and travel to Brantford in matches that will decide whether their two-season stay in the top division is destined to end in the Championship.

The Leeds were in the top three for the first time since Oct. 30 after a loss to Arsenal on Sunday, and the lack of self-control that ruined them on the occasion quickly became apparent again.

Mount gave Chelsea a perfect start in the fourth minute when he ran into Rhys James’ pass and struck a brilliant shot into the top corner from the edge of the zone.

This put an end to the feverish atmosphere of Elland Road, and Leeds fans became even more annoyed when their number dropped to 10 in the 24th minute.

James started a reckless high roll on Matteo Kovacic, and referee Anthony Taylor showed a red card to the Welsh striker.

James was the second Leeds player to be shown a red card in a row after Luke Eiling’s dismissal from Arsenal.

Kovacic tried to continue the game, but was lame due to injury, which could call into question the role of the Croatian midfielder in the FA Cup final.

Having scored his first goals in the league since December in Saturday’s draw with the Wolves, Lukaku looked a little more dangerous than usual.

He met James ’beautiful cross head that flew wide and then sent another chance head off the Cross cross in the early second half.

“Chelsea” went to the murder, and Pulisic finished them in the 55th minute.

Breaking through Leeds ’midfield with a rapier, Tuchel’s men were at their best in the course, which culminated in Pulisic taking a strike from Mount and returning home from the edge of the zone.

Lukaku scored three goals in two games when Hakim Zieha’s pass hit the roof of the goal in the 83rd minute.

Everton have moved away from Leeds by two points after a 0-0 draw with Watford.

Frank Lampard’s side have lost just once in their last six games to get out of the relegation zone.

They also have a game with Leeds in the fight for survival, but they will feel that the point was a disappointing comeback against Watford’s team, in which there is nothing to play for.

Jamie Vardy scored twice, and James Madison also scored when Leicester beat Norwich 3-0 at King Power Stadium, completing a seven-game winless streak.
