The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has approved a program to subsidize the purchase of new electric and hybrid vehicles.

According to SeeNews.comciting a press release, the government of the organization will allocate up to 1 million marks (538,900 US dollars / 511,300 euros) to fund the incentive this year.

The subsidy for the purchase of electric cars will be 10,000 marks. A subsidy of 5,000 marks will be granted for the purchase of hybrid cars with connected traffic with carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions up to 50 g / km or full hybrid cars with CO2 emissions up to 130 g / km.

Buyers can apply for the subsidy until December 12 or until the allocated amount is spent.

The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Republic of Serbia.
