Due to the fact that Banyan Banyan is preparing for the upcoming July African Women’s Cup (AFCON), which will be held in Morocco, midfielder Holos Bian is confident that the team will be better than before.
South Africa took the silver medal in 2018 in Ghana for the fifth time and qualified for the first Women’s World Cup in France.
The senior team faced rivals, Nigeria, in Group C competitions, as in the past. The group is complemented by debutants from Botswana and Burundi.
Biana is confident that the team will work again.
“I think it’s not just about pressure or anything else. Everyone just wants to achieve – like if you took second place last year, you definitely want to finish in the best position this year. So it’s the motivation inside of us, not just the pressure, we want to do better than we did in the last edition, ”Bianni said.

Missing in 2018 due to injury, the Banyan star revealed that returning to the competition and helping the team re-occupy the podium would be a “great achievement”.
The former player of the University of KwaZulu Natal has been playing football in Spain since 2019, and she has made it clear that she is going to settle with the European side as long as possible.
