Ex Kaizer Chiefs forward made a surprise signing for the Rockets on Saturday, penning a two-year deal after parting ways with Amakhosi at the end of last season.

“I am very happy to have found a new home at TS Galaxy and thanks to the chairman [Tim Sukazi] that he has full faith and trust in me to be part of the team, “ Parker told the club media department.

“I really appreciate it and can’t wait to get started with the Rockets. The team is a giant baby and I am here to grow and help them reach greater heights, bring leadership, my experience and everything I can give to the team. So I’m very happy and thanks to my family for the support and I can’t wait to wear the TS Galaxy shirt.”

The 36-year-old trained with Supersport United in an attempt to impress Gavin Huntbut they couldn’t come to an agreement and TS Galaxy rushed to sign him instead.
