Spring is often a time for new beginnings, but it seems babes Wodumo and Mampintsha didn’t get the memo when the trailer for the second season of their reality show, Utando Lodumothat’s as far as it goes.

Showmax just released the trailer for the final season, and it looks like viewers of the show and those familiar with their family drama will be getting the same.

Starting September 1, 2022, Gqom superstars Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelana and her husband Mandla Maphumula, popularly known as Mampintsha, will take their fans behind the scenes of their rollercoaster life on Showmax Original reality show.

In the first season Utando Lodumowe saw the controversial couple finalizing lobola negotiations, celebrating a star wedding and awaiting the birth of their first child, now affectionately known as “Sponge”.

Now, the family of three returns to Showmax for another dramatic season that brings their lives closer together.

The streaming platform promises that the new season will show what life has been like for the couple, lifting the curtain to reveal the story behind the most controversial headlines of the past year, as well as showing how the couple’s careers are progressing.

“As Mampintsha tries to mend the relationship between his wife and mother, it becomes clear that Babes is not going to back down. Mampintsha has to have some tough conversations and try to get her family to understand why Babes is fighting to give people access to her son.’

“I don’t like it when our families are at war with each other,” Mampintsha said.
