Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zvane revealed why Itumeleng Hun was not part of the losing team 1-0 to Royal AM on Saturday.
Many Amakhosi fans have been looking forward to the return of the veteran shot-stopper after he was recently confirmed as the captain of the team.
Zwane confirmed that Khune was available for selection but was not selected.

WHY DIDN’T KHUNE PLAY AGAINST ROYAL AM – CALL
“It came down to selection, obviously you pick the best XI available and we had to take Brandon [Peterson] and Bruce [Bvuma] for starters,” he told the media.
“So we create that kind of competition and Bruce did quite well today, it was just a shame that we conceded from that corner due to a lack of concentration.”

Following his appointment as coach, Zwane confirmed that Khun will wear the armband during the DStv Premier League.
“Itou is currently the club captain,” Zwane told SuperSport TV.
“If Itu starts, he is in the starting line-up, then he will definitely be the captain.
“If he’s maybe on the bench or not in the squad on game day, then we’ll see who can lead the team.
“But I think we have put together a very good team with players who have leadership qualities.”
