On Wednesday, May 11, an Eastern Cape 12th grade teacher was shot while driving from a revision camp.
A group of teachers from Mhezwa High School were driving in the same car after repeated classes for 12th graders.
An armed man fled the scene
It is reported that an unknown person opened fire on the car with the teachers who were driving.

“The driver of the car tried to run away, but the militant continued to shoot. The victims eventually managed to escape, and then they were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. “
