Speakers will take to the stage sharing their knowledge and expertise on a variety of topics, from the Metaverse to NFTs to empowering women in the project economy. Joe Cahill, Chief Client Officer, PMI, George Osamani, MD, PMI SSA, Paul Omugbe, President, PMI Nigeria, and David Pilling, Africa Editor, Financial Times, will join the speakers as presenters and moderators along with PMI senior management.

More than 20 sessions to be held over three days include a youth focus with themes such as “Empowering and Empowering Work Ready Youth”, “Bridging the Education-Employment Gap” and “Africa’s Future Belongs to Youth” A young panel of experts and speakers will host these sessions aimed at inspiring leaders in education, industry and future leaders.

Along with the climate crisis and digital disruption, the demographic shift is one of several global megatrends transforming the project economy and the labor market.

The continent’s top cheerleader, author and media personality Victor Kgamoeswana, who is speaking at the conference, is expected to bring his infectious charm to the proceedings. When he’s not writing about the continent’s potential and prospects, he returns to his day job as Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Limpopo.

Building on the success of last year’s virtual event, which was attended by more than 1,400 practitioners, the 2022 edition will offer professionals in various fields opportunities to explore and share new research, knowledge and experience, and will provide a platform for new collaborations.
