Shift Up’s long-awaited Project Eve is almost here. The Korean developer has announced that the action RPG Stellar Blade will be released in 2023. On consoles, it will be a PS5 exclusive.
As a result, the studio used Sony’s State of Play event to release a trailer detailing the game’s apocalyptic premise.

You play as Eve, a warrior who returns to a devastated Earth to rebuild and defend the last city (Xion) from the “NA:tives”. Naturally, in addition to the usual battles against terrible-looking creatures, there will also be human intrigue.
The mechanics of the action role-playing game will seem familiar, but it can be attractive if you like to improve your gameplay. You’ll need “precise timing” with combos, defensive maneuvers and skills to succeed against regular enemies, while boss fights will require a more “strategic” approach.
Since the release of the first teaser trailer in 2019, Project Eve has garnered a lot of attention, thanks in part to its eye-catching visuals. The question is whether the finished Stellar Blade lives up to those expectations.
