Twitter users seem to have been disappointed with media personality Anelle Mdoda’s ‘slow’ outfit change during the Miss South Africa 2022 finals held on Saturday August 13 at the SunBet Arena in Time Square, Pretoria.

This year, Anelle Mdoda independently hosted the finals of the Miss South Africa 2022 competition. She was an energetic host who kept the mood upbeat even during commercial breaks, but Twips seemed to think her outfit changes were too slow.

So, many mentioned that she wore the same dress for too long, while they thought that media personality Bonang Matheba would change faster and needed to be given a tutorial on hosting.

Here are two of Anneli’s three changes for the night.

Ndavi Nokeri, 23, has been crowned Miss SA 2022. The University of Pretoria (UP) graduate has become the second beauty queen to win the Miss SA title from Limpopo in two years. She follows in the footsteps of Shudufhadzo Musida who was crowned Miss SA 2020.

Anel also announced that Miss SA will follow in the footsteps of Miss Universe and will now allow married women and mothers to compete.

Twitter users pulled Anelle for her slow outfit changes and compared her to Bonang. So have a look..

β€œHaai, our Queen Bonang needs to be given her 101 How to Host a Live Show. She is still wearing the same dress. @Bonang will be doing her third outfit change,” @17_Anybody wrote.

However, others jumped to her defense.

β€œAnele Mdoda is a very brilliant broadcaster! Finish and clarr! One of the best. Her talent is enough. It’s really not our fault that all your favorite submissions are outfits and lashes. Some of us are here for the talent,” wrote @Kunene_Noman.
